Golf Packages

Many resorts offer golf packages to entice golfers to stay there. The package will include a night or two at the hotel, and a round of golf per occupant. These are often interchangeable with a day at the spa for couples with one golfer. That way one individual can be pampered for a day while the other spends a relaxing day on the course.

The round of golf included in a golf package is usually a traditional round. Many courses have 18 or even 27 holes, but a round is considered nine holes. The fee associated with a round of golf can be astronomical for the more prestigious courses; some have annual member ship fees over $100,000.

This is what makes a golf vacation package such a draw, many times you can get a round of golf in on a world class resort for a fraction of the price it would have cost you otherwise.
