Golf Bag

Golf bags are the storage spot for everything a golfer wants to take with them on a round of golf. Clubs, tees, balls, gloves, even an umbrella or something to drink are not all that uncommon in a golfer’s bag.

A golf bag typically has a plastic or metal interior frame. Around this frame is fitted a covering, usually leather or nylon. The interior is a large cylinder with space for storing a set of golf clubs. The exterior has pockets for storing the rest of a golfer’s supplies in it. The bag is not an absolute necessity to play a round of golf, but carrying around everything you need without one would be a headache.

At one time golf bags were exclusively slung over one shoulder with a strap. Today you can get wheeled bags, although the wheeled variety still come with both a shoulder strap and hand strap. Many recreational golfers simply attach their bag to the golf cart and return to the cart whenever they need clubs.
